Being a junior faculty member involves managing multiple pressures – from research, teaching, and service, to personal commitments -- which can adversely impact one's mental and physical health. Accordingly, this workshop offers an innovative, skill-based opportunity for pre-tenure faculty members to understand how to find and exercise their agency to make pivots towards curating healthier careers. To facilitate interactive learning, the session brings together faculty across different career stages who conduct research in relevant domains and/or have had meaningful personal and professional experiences related to prioritizing one's health.
