    We invite current AOM Student and Academic members to join us for CARMA's upcoming PhD Prep Panel Session, this Friday, September 29, 2023.  CARMA is a non-profit academic center at Texas Tech University starting our 26th year of providing research methods education.     The Guidance for Qualitative Dissertations panel session described below is available to these AOM members free of charge as part of the 2022-2023 AOM-CARMA Affiliate Program (which ends Oct. 5).  If this is you, instructions for how to access the event via the AOM website is provided at the end of the event information below.

     Guidance for Qualitative Dissertations

    Panelists:

    Abstract:

    This panel discussion provides recommendations for those using qualitative methods as part of a doctoral dissertation research project.   Topics to be addressed include important things to remember when collecting/analyzing data, writing up results, and publishing qualitative work.  The role of trustworthiness in qualitative research will also be discussed.  After brief comments from the panelists, a Q&A session will allow attendees to link what they have learned to their own research interests.
