SAP IG Doctoral and Early Career Program on July 25, 2025 at AOM Copenhagen 2025
Call for Applications (Extended Deadline)
Organizers: Daniel Gäckle, Tyson Rallens, Kristina Stoiber, & Verena Timmer
Doctoral students and early career scholars in the OB Division may consider attending the Doctoral and Early Career Program (ECP) sponsored by the Strategizing Activities and Practices Interest Group at this year's AoM Annual Meeting in Copenhagen.
The SAP IG is dedicated to understanding the myriad day-to-day activities on the micro-level that make up strategy as a thing that people in organizations do, while at the same time appreciating the macro-level institutions that shape these strategizing activities.
The SAP ECP aims to introduce junior researchers to the field of strategy as practice and equip them to make a scholarly contribution within it. The program goes above and beyond traditional doctoral consortiums by connecting to workshops run by the SAP interest group and including an opportunity to meet 1:1 with a senior SAP scholar.
This full-day event takes place on Friday, July 25th, 2025, as part of the 85th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Copenhagen, Denmark, and includes a mix of panels, interactive workshops, roundtables, and networking opportunities, all designed to build a strong and supportive academic community. Doctoral students and early career scholars with a potential interest in SAP-related topics, methods, and discussions are encouraged to apply.
