Calling all gratitude researchers! The Love Consortium (TLC) is thrilled to launch a new Global Gratitude Project including a gratitude-specific dataverse and funding opportunities.

    1.    The Global Gratitude Dataverse (GGDv) offers fresh opportunities for collaboration between researchers studying the topic of gratitude, with an emphasis on bringing together researchers from every part of the globe. Any dataset containing a measure of gratitude-from one item in a larger emotion scale to a multi-phased intervention study-and from any relationship context is eligible for inclusion in the GGDv. https://www.theloveconsortium.org/sharing-datasets Click to follow link." target="_blank" rel="noopener">Describe your dataset today to take greatest advantage of collaboration opportunities resulting from the now-open funding call below!

    2.    There are also two funding opportunities to advance the science of gratitude using data described in the Global Gratitude Dataverse:

    a.    Up to ten graduate student research awards of $10,000 USD each, to test a proposed hypothesis about gratitude using data described in the GGDv. These students will be selected from all regions of the world (ideally, 1-2 from each populated continent) to encourage global representation and collaboration.

    b.    One early career research grant (up to $30,000 USD) to provide research support (e.g., a course release or summer research salary, conference, or workshop fees) for a scholar within six years of having received their doctorate degree (e.g., Assistant Professor).

    c.     The funding period for both opportunities will extend from May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025. Submissions are due December 15, 2023 and decisions will be announced no later than February 16, 2024.
