The Academy of Management Annals and Academy of Management Review are pleased to host a joint idea-development workshop on December 16, 2025 at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California!

The workshop will run from 8am to 6pm and has two parts. Participants can apply to participate in the morning session only or to participate in both the morning and afternoon sessions.<u5:p></u5:p>
In the morning session, we will provide information about publishing in Annals and AMR. The editorial teams will discuss what makes a successful paper, and how to address the core challenges often seen in rejected papers at these respective journals.<u5:p></u5:p>
In the afternoon session, we offer roundtable discussions of participants' ideas. We will match participants with a facilitator such as an Associate Editor or Editorial Board member from either Annals or AMR (i.e., you choose which journal), who will discuss and provide feedback on your idea. Participation in this part of the workshop is limited. <u5:p></u5:p>
