    OVERVIEW

    The University of St. Thomas Department of Management in the Opus College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position in Organizational Behavior at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, starting Fall 2024. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching, potential for strong research, and desire to engage in culturally responsive service activities that demonstrate their commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

    The Department of Management consists of 14 full-time faculty from a variety of backgrounds and specializations. Most have extensive industry experience and some continue to consult. Our faculty have published in the Academy of Management Annals, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Personnel Psychology. The department houses the General Business, Human Resource Management, International Business, and Leadership and Management undergraduate majors and has course offerings throughout all graduate programs.     The Opus College of Business develops effective, principled business leaders, who think globally, act ethically, and create enduring value for society.     QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A Ph.D. (U.S. or foreign equivalent from an AACSB-accredited institution) in Organizational Behavior or other closely related discipline.
    • Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in organizational behavior and leadership (teaching load is 3/3 with a potential course release for research-active faculty).
    • Demonstrated ability and commitment to excellence in teaching.
    • A strong research agenda with potential to publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals.

    • Demonstrated commitment to providing leadership (in teaching, research, and/or service) toward building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
    • Teaching and research interests that complement the department and college needs and priorities including Health Care, International Business, and Emerging Technology.
