    Dear Colleagues,

    Wayne State University is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Department of Management in the Mike Ilitch School of Business, beginning Fall 2026. We will begin reviewing applications January 15th, 2026.

    Essential duties:

    • Teach 4 (per semester) undergraduate/graduate level courses, along with the option to teach summer courses.
      • Research is not expected in this position, however course teaching load reductions may be available based on publication record.
    • Manage assessment and student progress with a Learning Management System (Canvas).
    • Maintain and adapt curriculum that is current, effective, and appropriate to course and program competencies.
    • Instruct students in a classroom, online, and/or hybrid setting.
    • Engage in department, school, university and external service.

    Desired education and experience:

    • A Ph.D. in organizational behavior, human resource management, or a related field from an AACSB-accredited business school. Candidates with a Master's degree can be considered for the rank of Instructor - Teaching.
    • Teaching and/or professional experience/certification in organizational behavior and/or human resource management.
    • Ability to build and teach courses in multi-modalities including in-person; online asynchronous; and online synchronous.
