    University Assistant / Postdoc (must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree) for a full-time, six-year position

    Institute for Leadership and Change Management
    Our small group has published in several top journals, including Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Annals, Organization Science and Organization Studies.

    Job Duties:

    • Conduct autonomous research
    • Actively take part in joint research projects with institute members involved in creativity and innovation
    • Supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses
    • Teach subjects related to Leadership, Change Management, & HRM
    • Acquire third-party funds
    • Support the institute´s activities

    Your Qualifications:

    • The successful candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree in Management/Business, Sociology, or Psychology
    • Expertise in the field of Organizational Behavior/Organization Theory
    • A strong pipeline of papers and research projects
    • Mastery of qualitative research methods (quantitative and experimental methods are well-appreciated pluses)
    • Experience in acquiring third-party funds is appreciated
    • An interest in studying the social mechanisms underlying the behavior of teams and organizations, mostly in the context of creativity (e.g., solving problems on the fly, adapting to new circumstances) and innovation
    • Very good proficiency in German (level B2) and English 
    • High motivation to conduct research and teaching

    • On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 4,932.90 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
