--Please circulate widely. Apologies for cross-posting--

The Centre for Research in Equality and Diversity (CRED) at Queen Mary, University of London is inviting PhD students from around the UK and Europe working in and around Organisation Studies to a one-day virtual International PhD Summer School on how to theorise difference in your research. This will be particularly useful for PhD students working on their theoretical framework but may also be of interest to those who have already progressed further in their doctoral studies. We will explore what it means to do research from an intersectional perspective and we will think about how to theorise race in particular in our research.

This Summer School will also provide a networking opportunity for those researching inequalities at work and in employment around Europe and you will have the opportunity to opt into a small virtual networking group following the event.

The Summer School will provide an opportunity to receive one-to-one feedback from a faculty member of CRED who will take time to read and comment on your work and to discuss any issues you might have during a 15-20-minute feedback slot.

    Participating faculty members include:

Dr Andromachi Athanasopoulou, Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour

Professor Rob Briner, Professor of Organisational Psychology

Dr Elena Doldor, Reader in Organisational Behaviour

Professor Gill Kirton, Professor of Employment Relations
