Around the world, in many cultural traditions, contemplation and dialogue about the sacred are core to sustaining nourishing, vital communities. Such contemplation can also be crucial in mutlicultural, global organizations. Join us online to learn about how such contemplation has been important in Maori culture and how those of us from other cultures can draw upon their wisdom as we live and work within our own traditions.

Ella Henry, an Indigenous Māori woman from Aotearoa New Zealand and Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Business School at Auckland University of Technology, will share the cultural values and practices that underpin Māori society and which provide a spiritual foundation for the renaissance of Māori culture and language over the last fifty years.

This session is one of a series of quarterly gatherings sponsored by the MSR Division focused on a selected practice, each time from a different cultural and spiritual tradition from around the world. Attendees learn about the practice, experience that practice, and then reflect together regarding how personal experiences of this and other spiritual practices nourish them.

There are no prerequisites or expectations as to previous experience or knowledge. All are invited to taste these practices and dialogue together!
