    We are looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with expertise in Organisational Behaviour and HRM to join our dynamic team!

    Lecturer/Assistant Professor: $110,442 - $130,829 (ALB) per annum plus 17% superannuation

    Senior Lecturer: $134,904 - $155,293 (ALC) per annum plus 17% superannuation

    About the position

    The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and engagement in the area of organisational behaviour, leadership, human resource management and related disciplines. They will be expected to undertake undergraduate and post-graduate teaching with further opportunities for Executive Education teaching. As a passionate academic, they will also be provided with opportunities for Higher Degree by Research supervision, leadership, and professional development. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct high quality research, including publications in high quality outlets
    • Identify sources of funding, develop and submit funding applications, and secure external research funding to support research activities.
    • Identify opportunities for demand-driven research and engage with industry partners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to understand their research needs.
    • Design and deliver high-quality courses in human resource management, organisational behaviour, leadership and related disciplines.
    • Develop course materials and assessment tasks that align with trends in the contemporary and future labour market and with the learning objectives of the respective programs.
    • Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
    • Provide academic guidance and support to students, such as postgraduate study options.
    • Engage in professional development, and internal/external service and engagement.
    • Contribute to a positive School/Faculty/University culture reflecting Curtin's Values of Respect, Integrity, Impact, Courage and Excellence.
    • Other duties as directed from time to time.

    As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia. Only in limited situations will visa sponsorship be considered.

    Selection criteria:

    • A doctoral qualification in a relevant academic discipline (Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Psychology, Management).
    • Demonstrated ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to develop innovative and high-quality course materials.
    • A strong track record of achievement in and commitment to excellence in delivering learning experiences across multiple teaching modes and platforms.
    • A strong record of high-quality research as evidenced by publications in relevant disciplines (Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Psychology, Management), and a clear plan to build a high-quality publications pipeline.
    • Demonstrated experience in applying and securing research funding.Demonstrated experience in supervising HDR students.
    • Demonstrated commitment to applying relevant and applicable policies, procedures, and legislation in the day-to-day performance of the functions of the position.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse community/industry backgrounds.
    • Willingness to take on leadership roles in teaching and/or research.
