    The Department of Global Leadership and Management within the College of Business at Florida International University in Miami, FL, invites applications for tenure-track open-rank positions in Management to begin in August 2023. We have a preference to hire at the Assistant Professor level, but exceptional candidates may be considered for a higher rank. The positions require a Ph.D. in Management, Human Resources, or a related field of study (e.g., industrial psychology, organizational psychology). Applicants should have a record of demonstrated excellence as a scholar and teacher, and evidence of strong research productivity.

     

    The Department of Global Leadership and Management houses a nationally ranked Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) and BBA in Human Resource Management. We are especially interested in applicants who can teach effectively in these high priority programs. We also offer a BBA in Management, as well as a Ph.D., which focuses on topics related to Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Leadership and Cross-cultural Management. The undergraduate and graduate programs are offered in a traditional format as well as a fully online format. Our faculty are well-regarded scholars in the fields of Human Resources, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and International Management and have published in the field's best journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology. They also serve on editorial boards of top journals including Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, and Journal of Management. Faculty include Dr. Juan Sanchez, Dr. Modesto Maidique, Dr. Carolina Gomez, Dr. Nathan Hiller, Dr. Hock-Peng Sin, Dr. Kisha Jones, Dr. Chaitali Kapadia, and Dr. Ravi Gajendran (Department Chair).
