***POSTED ON BEHALF OF PROFESSOR ELIZABETH GEORGE, OB DIVISION CHAIR***

    Friends,

The OB Division, with support from the Academy of Management (AOM), is offering a scholarship program to ease the financial burden of members seeking to attend the Academy of Management Conference. The program provides a limited number of scholarships to cover the conference registration fee for recipients in need. A division member is eligible for the scholarship if the member's institution does not offer funding for conference attendance. We encourage all eligible members who find themselves in need of financial assistance to apply.

To be eligible for an OB Division Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    1. Have paid the annual Academy of Management membership fees for this year.
    2. Be a registered member of the OB Division at the time of application.

Priority is given to requests in the following order: doctoral students attending the OB doctoral consortium, doctoral students with accepted OB Division program submissions (PDW, symposium or paper), junior faculty attending an OB division junior faculty consortium, junior faculty (prior to tenure) with accepted submissions to the OB division program, all other submitters with accepted submissions.  Presenters with international travel expenses will also be given priority.

    Application process

To apply, complete the OB Division Scholarship form available at https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5pWVgePOUMmdvF4. Click or tap if you trust this link." data-linkindex="0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">here

Scholarship awards will be made on a rolling basis. (If you have already registered, but wish to apply for the funds, AOM will refund your paid registration fee after the conference if you are granted a fee waiver.)  Only one scholarship is allowed per person so please let us know if you are granted a waiver from another division.
