These foundational issues are central to the work of a scientist in constructing understanding and explanation of important phenomena in our natural and social world.

The highly interactive course will be offered virtually in the second half of 2023. II. RRBM Dare to Care Dissertation Scholarships

The 2024 RRBM Dare to Care Dissertation Scholarships will be awarded to select doctoral students in business schools who are conducting dissertation research aligned with the RRBM Principles of Responsible Research. Scholarship recipients receive financial support in the form of a scholarship of up to $10,000 USD as well as intellectual support from among the community of RRBM scholars, according to need.  Eligible research topics will focus on economic inequality, racial, gender or other forms of social justice in organizations, thereby contributing to meeting one or more of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Applications will only be considered if the proposed research can provide actionable knowledge or ideas that firms or managers can use to develop policies or practices aimed at reducing economic and social injustice.

The eligible applicant is a doctoral candidate at the beginning stage of the dissertation research; is studying in a business school in any discipline (such as management, marketing, or operations) as long as the research falls within the domain described above; and is committed to the RRBM Principles of Responsible Research.
