    Hello colleagues (apologies for cross-posting),

Please join the editor team of Organizational Research Methods (ORM) for a discussion regarding the development of methodological contributions. This panel symposium (session 1890) is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 9 from 9:45-11:15 AM in Room 604 of the Seattle Convention Center. Presenters will include current Co-editors and Associate Editors of ORM, representing a range of expertise spanning qualitative to quantitative methods, and micro to macro topics.

Potential discussion topics include how to identify and select a valuable methodological contribution, ways to compare existing methodological approaches, how to structure a methodological paper, the differences between quantitative and qualitative methods papers, discrepancies between micro and macro methodological topics, and how to effectively communicate methods research to a diverse audience. That said, we anticipate topics to be broad, allowing for attendees' questions to prompt more specific conversation. For more information, please see our session details here. We hope to see you there!
