Session 145: How to Succeed in the PhD Admissions Process: A Consortium for Pre-Doctoral Students
A PDW for individuals applying to PhD programs in the next 1-2 years in the areas of Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship will be held IN PERSON at the Academy of Management Conference in Chicago, IL. The PDW is scheduled for Friday, August 9th from 1-5 pm in Swissotel: Montreux 3.
The purpose of this professional development workshop (PDW) is to provide advice and information on how to navigate the PhD Admissions process, with a specific emphasis on:
1) A Career in Academia
2) Finding Your Research Fit
3) The Keys to a Successful Application, and
4) A Day in the Life of a PhD Student

The Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Iowa, and University of Massachusetts-Amherst are sponsoring scholarships to cover registration fees for the conference.
