  • 1.  platform for easy 360° surveys / by academics for academics / texl.org

Do you have to prepare a lecture in fall or an upcoming executive workshop?
This tool is for OB peeps who want to support participants' self-reflection journey.

TEXL.org is an online assessment platform that allows to quickly set up 360° surveys without headache (drag&drop). For free. With scientifically validated scales only. GDPR compliant. Data secure (including 2FA). Hosted by the University of Exeter. With appealing visual feedback.

Very little effort to set up (even for big audiences), and participants get in-depth insights on:
    a) how various others perceive them (classic 360°),
    b) their trajectories over time (longitudinal),
    c) comparisons with other participants around the globe (benchmarking).

You can check it out by becoming a "survey creator" here:
    https://texl.org/

(see the overview of the currently available scientifically validated scales: https://texlhelp.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/103000060675-what-scales-are-available-in-texl-

Should you need assistance, it is most convenient to use the contact form at the bottom of the webpage.

Given I have already received inquiries about it, here some answers:

This is not meant to replace Qualtrics or similar platforms. As such, there is no way to insert own questions. Having said that, if you have scales that you'd like us to include on the platform, then please let us know. We can see about it and check licensing fees.
By the same token, and re open questions specifically, in the initial setup we ran a bit into a showstopper with ethics as well as legal and compliance having concerns re a) how to still ensure anonymity and b) how to take care of participants when they receive such type of feedback. As we did not have immediate solutions, so far we refrained from developing this feature. If you have ideas, please do let us know.
BUT ... if you want to use texl for research and have IRB clearance, there is a way how to code match the export from TEXL to your independent qualtrics survey data. In the qualtrics survey you could then ask all kinds of questions including open ended questions.

Oh and because some asked me how I introduce and use the results in class, here is a video of me explaining my way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbQzsgK-pJk&t=699s

But naturally, everyone can do it their way. Hope you enjoy the tool.
