We are excited to extend an invitation to you to participate in The Biodiversity Moonshot: innovating for an embedded future between business and nature Professional Development Workshop (PDW), held in conjunction with the 84th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management [AOM 2024], taking place in Chicago, IL, USA from August 9-13, 2024.
The PDW will be introduced by Alberto Di Minin and Francesco Testa, Centro Nazionale Biodiversity Future NBFC, Scuola Sant'Anna, Pisa.
The PDW will feature several roundtable discussions aimed at addressing various aspects of business biodiversity issues:
1. **First roundtable: Challenges & solutions to doing biodiversity research.

2. **Second roundtable: Considering Levels and Systems in Business Biodiversity Issues.

3. **Third roundtable: Business and biodiversity. Measurement challenges and future directions.
Facilitator(s): Kerrigan Unter, University of St. Gallen.
4. **Fourth roundtable: Public policies for innovation and innovation ecosystem to foster biodiversity.
Facilitator(s): Andrea Filippetti, ISSIRFA-CNR and Fabrizio Tuzi, ISSIRFA-CNR.
5. **Fifth roundtable: The Economics of Biodiversity.
Facilitator(s): Jean Garner Stead, East Tennessee State University.
6. **Sixth roundtable: Innovation ecosystems transitions to support bio-based industry and biodiversity.
Facilitator(s): Philip Shapira, University of Manchester & Georgia Institute of Technology.
