    The Department of Management and Human Resources (MHR), Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University, invites applications for up to three faculty positions in either Organizational Behavior (OB) or Human Resources (HR). We seek candidates specializing in OB or HR, and applicants focusing on either area are encouraged to apply. This will be a full-time, tenure-track appointment, to begin Autumn semester 2025. The salary and teaching load will be competitive with other major research institutions. 

    Tenure-track faculty in MHR are expected to conduct cutting-edge research disseminated in premier management and disciplinary journals, teach courses firmly grounded in evidence, and provide service on behalf of the department, college, and profession.

    The position(s) are open rank. We plan on hiring at the assistant level, although we are also interested in associate and full level candidates. Preference will be given to individuals with a Ph.D. (or to have received a PhD by August 2025), a publication record commensurate with experience, and an ability to contribute to publishing with and mentoring PhD students.

    The College 

    Fisher College of Business has a rich research tradition and engages through the college and the Graduate School in programs at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. The nationally ranked Fisher College of Business is one of 15 colleges within the university, with approximately 7,600 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students.  

    Department Information

    The MHR department is a diverse and collegial group that includes OB, HR, Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship. The OB/HR faculty consists of Tim Judge, Ben Tepper, Robert Lount, Tracy Dumas, Ray Noe, Steffanie Wilk, Tanya Menon, Ben Campbell, Hun Lee, and Kathleen Keeler. The faculty regularly publish in top journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Organizational Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.
