    Multiple Open-Rank Positions

The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School invites applications for multiple open-rank tenure-track positions in the Department of Management and Organization. We are open to hiring in all research areas of HR/OB. We also welcome and encourage applications from candidates with PhDs from non-business disciplines such as Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Social Psychology, Computational Social Science, etc.

NUS provides a supportive environment including competitive salaries/benefits, generous research grants, reduced teaching load for two years (for assistant professors: 2:0 for two years and 3:0 subsequently), subsidized faculty housing, and a strong research culture. The works from our faculty have been published in top journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personnel Psychology, and PNAS. The Management and Organization Department at NUS is one of the most productive and highly cited in the world. According to the Texas A&M/University of Georgia Rankings of Management Department Research Productivity (https://www.tamugarankings.com/rankings/2022-int/), NUS ranked 6th in research productivity worldwide in 2022 (2023 data not yet available as of this posting).

Our tenure track faculty include a strong set of scholars: Christopher Barnes, Anjier Chen, David Daniels, Emily David, Tianyu He, Ji Hyun Kim, Sooyeol Kim, Sandy Lim, Vivien Lim, Dan McAllister, Wei Jee Ong, Zhaoli Song, and  Sam Yam.

In addition to research, applicants should have a strong interest and competence in teaching at all levels, and in training doctoral students. The NUS Business School offers undergraduate, MSc, MBA, doctoral, and executive programs. It consistently ranks among the top business schools in Asia and is AACSB/EQUIS accredited. English is the principal language of instruction at the University and an official language in Singapore. Singapore is a modern city with a standard of living that rivals or exceeds many American or European cities. It is also well-located for work and travel in South- East Asian and the Western Pacific Rim.
