The University of Minnesota & CARMA will be virtually hosting our third of three CARMA Rerun Summer Watch Parties to support OB Division Ph.D. students over the summer. We are excited to informally convene groups of fellow nerds, hone knowledge of methodological best practices, and build connections. For each watch party, OB Ph.D. students from around the world are invited to join for a 2-hour Zoom session where we will watch a previously recorded CARMA video as a group, have a brief Q&A with the methodological expert, and build connections with other Ph.D. students in smaller breakout rooms.
We will continue this once-a-month summer series this Friday, Aug 19th @ 12-2 pm CT with a focus on Dr. Keith Markus' Testing Causal Hypotheses CARMA video. The schedule for this event is as follows:
- 12-1pm CT - Dr. Keith Markus' Testing Causal Hypotheses Video
- 1-1:30pm CT - Q&A with Dr. Keith Markus
- 1:30-2pm CT - PhD Student Networking
Any interested OB Ph.D. student can sign up at this registration (no cost): https://z.umn.edu/CARMA_Watch_Party
Once you register, you will automatically be sent an email with a unique link to join and a calendar invite. Looking forward to seeing folks on Friday!
