    Assistant Professor of Organizational Leadership (Tenure-track)

    The Department of Organizational Leadership at Purdue University Fort Wayne (https://www.pfw.edu/etcs/organizational-leadership) seeks an Assistant Professor with a specialization in leadership, organizational behavior, HR management, or HR development effective August 12, 2024. In addition to research and teaching, the selected candidate will be expected to serve on campus committees. Candidates are expected to currently possess or demonstrate potential to establish a defined research agenda within their field of study. Additionally, candidates are expected to demonstrate their ability to successfully teach using various modalities.

     

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • PhD/terminal degree or ABD in leadership, organizational behavior, human resource management, industrial/organizational psychology or closely related field.
    • Evidence of capacity to conduct high-quality research within OB, HR, leadership, or related field.

     

    Preferred:  

    • Demonstrated evidence of recent research productivity, i.e., peer-review publications, book chapters, and/or conference proceedings.
    • Prior college-level teaching experience and/or relevant work experience.
    • Demonstrated success in teaching face-to-face, and/or hybrid, and/or online courses.

     

    Possible Courses

    Class assignments (3/3 load) may include Introduction to Organizational Behavior, Applied Leadership, Leadership Process, Conference Leadership, Training and Development, Human Resource Issues or other HR courses, Research Methods, or others that align with selected candidate's discipline and corresponding department needs.
