Revisiting Work-Nonwork Boundary Management: Lessons from the Pandemic for the Future (session 1303)

Date: Mon Aug 8, 2022, 12:00-1:30 pm. – in person only

Location: Seattle Convention Center Room 305

    Discussant: Glen Kreiner

    Organizer: Sumita Raghuram

Overview: The extreme conditions imposed by the pandemic (e.g., both spouses working from home; prolonged use of work from home) have led to employees adapting to work from home in ways that may have lasting effects on how they and their employers view the work-nonwork boundaries post-pandemic. This creates a need for reexamining conventional approaches and theories for understanding boundary management in remote work.
