    Visiting Assistant Professor in Organizational Leadership

    The Department of Organizational Leadership at Purdue University Fort Wayne (http://www.pfw.edu) seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor with a specialization in leadership, organizational behavior, and/or Human Resource Management effective August 19, 2024. The position is for two years, with renewal for the second year contingent upon performance and funding availability. In addition to teaching, the selected candidate will be expected to serve on campus committees (predominantly at the departmental level).

     

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • PhD/terminal degree or ABD in leadership, organizational behavior, human resource management, industrial/organizational psychology or closely related field.
    • Exceptional candidates with a master's degree in the relevant fields who have extensive work and/or teaching experience may be considered.

    Preferred:  

    • Prior college-level teaching experience and/or relevant work experience.
    • Demonstrated success in teaching face-to-face, and/or hybrid, and/or online courses.

     

    Possible Courses

    Class assignments (4/4 load) may include Introduction to Organizational Behavior, Applied Leadership, Leadership Process, Conference Leadership, Training and Development, Human Resource Issues or others that align with selected candidate's discipline and corresponding department needs.
