Junior scholars conducting research on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in management and related fields are invited to attend this two-day workshop. Academic journal editors and associate editors from the following journals will be attending to provide feedback. As part of the workshop, you will work in small writing groups and gain feedback from journal editors and your peers to accelerate submission of your paper to a top journal. The event will begin in the morning on June 5th and conclude in the afternoon on June 6th. This workshop will be in person only and participants are invited to attend all or part of the workshop activities as their schedule allows.

Workshop participants must register by April 3rd to attend.

Individuals can receive feedback on research manuscripts at any stage of development. For this reason, we ask that participants submit their research and indicate their progress in the registration form. We also ask that you provide three key words about your research on the registration form.

Examples of research that would be related to DEI includes but is not limited to:

    • Scholarship at the individual, team, group, organizational, and/or national level investigating one or more ways to conceptualize diversity (e.g., race, ethnicity, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, social economic status, power differentials, disability status, neurodiversity).
    • Research related to equity or the differential experience of salient outcomes within organizations and/or other societal structures based on group membership.
    • Scholarship related to how individuals perceive feeling included, treated with respect, and/or belongingness within their teams, groups, organizations, and/or other societal structures.

There is no fee to attend the workshop although participants will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation. A limited number of stipends are available to offset travel expenses. If needed, participants may apply for stipends by indicating it in the registration form below. Hotel arrangements are available at the StayPineapple- University Inn at a contract rate of $218.
