    The Department of Management in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for one (or multiple) full-time tenure-track faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level to conduct research and teaching in organizational behavior and human resource management (OB/HRM). Position will begin fall semester 2025, with an anticipated employment start date of August 1, 2025.


    Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in management or a closely related discipline. For appointment at the assistant professor rank, candidates should demonstrate the promise of moving toward excellence in publication in peer-reviewed leading management research journals of national standing and have a demonstrated record of teaching OB/HRM. For appointment to the associate professor rank, candidates should demonstrate a research record commensurate with rank and excellence in teaching OB/HRM. To be eligible for tenure on appointment, candidates must be appointed as an associate professor, have been tenured at a prior institution, and bring a demonstrably national reputation to the institution.     The Department of Management at the University of Georgia is among the most productive in the country, consistently ranking in the top 5 in the Texas A&M/UGA Rankings of Management Department Productivity. The OB group includes Jessica Rodell (former associate editor for AMJ and current associate editor for OBHDP), Laura Little (associate editor for AMJ), Fadel Matta, Joanna Lin, James Matusik, Yihao Liu, and Mary Eve Speach.
