The goal of the workshop is to provide a forum for junior faculty members to gain career advice from senior OB scholars (“Faculty Fellows”) about navigating careers challenges as well as a number of other topics.
How do I register?
Registration is limited to 50 participants and the registration deadline is Wednesday June 29th. For the registration form CLICK HERE.
We will have ten Faculty Fellow participants who are prolific researchers as well as editors and/or editorial board members at the leading OB journals. The Fellows will participate in two panel discussions on issues relevant to pre-tenure junior faculty. After the panel discussions, we will have two sets of breakout roundtables so you can connect more personally with Faculty Fellows to talk about issues of interest.
All PDW registrants have an opportunity for a virtual meet-up prior to the conference on Tuesday July 19th from noon to 1PM EST (that’s 9AM – 10AM PST). During this time, the organizers will also solicit input regarding key issues/questions to discuss at the JFW in August. Attendance to the warm-up is encouraged.
Who can attend?
Faculty members who consider themselves junior (i.e., are untenured and within the first 4-5 years of an academic position). You should also be a member of the Organizational Behavior Division and must be registered for the AOM conference.
Can I attend again?
Yes! If you attended the virtual workshop last year, you may attend the in-person workshop again this year.
