    JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Management and Organization Department in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) has an open rank full-time tenure-track professor position in the area of Organizational Behavior (OB). We seek to fill this position at either the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank with a candidate who has a high-quality research record and can teach related courses. The start date for the position is Fall 2023. Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or be in the final stages), a proven track record in conducting high-quality scholarly research, and demonstrated teaching competence at a high level.

Job Requirement: Although we may hire at any rank, our preference is for candidates at the Associate or Advanced Assistant Professor rank, with publications in premier journals, a high impact research program (or such potential underway), and who are able to connect with the wide array of doctoral students and faculty in our department. Regardless of rank, faculty members are expected to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, supervise graduate students, and engage in professional service. Review of applications for the position will begin on September 1, 2022 and will continue until the position is filled.

Candidates for the position can apply directly online by uploading a letter of interest, CV, three research papers, and a one-page diversity statement indicating the candidates' awareness of, experience with, and/or commitment to diversity and inclusion. Candidates applying for full or associate ranks may simply list three references on their CV (whom we will contact if the candidate is short-listed); candidates applying for an assistant professor rank should have three reference letters sent directly to psuobprof@psu.edu. Any questions can be sent directly to the recruiting committee chair, Professor Stephen Humphrey, seh25@psu.edu
