Hello colleagues,

You're invited to join a conversation on self-compassion in organizations at AOM. We (Samantha Dodson, Yu Tse Heng, Jane Dutton, Kristin Neff, and Chris Germer) are hosting a synchronous panel discussion (Session 63) to explore current and future directions for researching and practicing self-compassion in organizations. The panel includes a mix of academics and practitioners, including bestselling author and self-compassion expert Kristin Neff, to better understand lived experiences and theoretical underpinnings of self-compassion at work.

We have created a webpage and invite anyone curious about this topic to pose questions, learn about the panelists, and check out additional resources. Our synchronous symposium will include opportunities to interact with the panel, including a self-compassion practice and moderated Q&A session. We hope to make it a fun and engaging (virtual) experience for all. If you would like to stay in touch with the organizers or have questions, please feel free to email Samantha.dodson@eccles.utah.edu or yutse@uw.edu.
