    The School of Labor and Employment Relations at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty appointment to begin August 15, 2021.  The appointment would be at either the appropriate Teaching Professor rank or as a Professor of Practice. 

    Applicants for this position will be expected to teach courses in human resource management at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Residential college teaching experience is highly desirable for this position.  A Ph.D. in a relevant field or a Master's degree and significant professional experience are required.  Candidates should be able to teach in some of the following areas: compensation and benefits, HR analytics/research methods, organization development and change management, international HRM, and/or HRM and business fundamentals (basic finance, accounting, management strategy, and how they relate to HRM). The appointee may have the opportunity to be a core faculty member of the School's Center for International Human Resource Studies (https://ler.la.psu.edu/cihrs). 

    This position will be located at the University Park Campus of Penn State.  In addition to teaching in residence, the successful candidate may be asked to occasionally teach in the School's online program.  The successful candidate will also be expected to perform occasional service work on behalf of the School.
