    Dear All,

We would like to alert you to an upcoming special issue in Safety Science co-edited by Tom Reader (LSE), Tal Katz-Navon (IDC), and Gudela Grote (ETH).

The special issue will be on the topic of 'Safety Science in the New Age of Work'. We want to set out a new (and preferably "out of the box") agenda for how safety research might adapt to the rapidly changing workplace, for example: zero hour contracts, remote working, globalization, artificial intelligence, and the increased blurring between people's working and personal lives. The details of the call – which is open and for peer-review papers – can be found here: https://www.journals.elsevier.com/safety-science/call-for-papers/safety-science-in-the-new-age-of-work

The submission date is May 1st 2021, and we are inviting both theoretical papers and empirical articles (hence the 2021 submission date, which is designed to give people time to prepare original material if they wish). It would be great to have a submission from you!

Please let us know if you have any questions on the special issue (e.g., if you have something in mind, and would like to know if it fits).

    Sincerely,

Tom Reader (London School of Economics) T.W.Reader@lse.ac.uk

Tal Katz-Navon (The Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya) katzt@idc.ac.il

    Gudela Grote (ETH, Zurich) ggrote@ethz.ch
