Call for papers: International Journal of Conflict Management

The world has moved online. Conflicts have also moved online. Thus, there is a critical need for research to study how conflicts can be effectively managed in an online world.
Traditional assumptions about and the methods for managing conflict may need to be modified and adapted to the cyber realm. New insights are needed to better understand how conflicts arise and how they can be managed. Therefore, this special issue encourages the publication of research on managing cyber conflict.
The goal is to publish thoughtful analyses that spur insightful reflections about the past, present, and future directions of research on cyber conflict. This can include analyses of actual online conflicts, theoretical perspectives, and the prediction of possible future scenarios. New insights, creative solutions, and innovative ideas that move our scholarship in new directions is strongly encouraged.
Studies may use a variety of methodological techniques including: field studies, laboratory studies, literature reviews, meta-analyses, theory development, survey research, and analyses of archival data. This could include analysis of data from employees working within organizations, interdepartmental conflicts, business-to-business conflicts, labor relations conflicts, countries, non-governmental organizations, and other sources.
The following are examples of topics that are listed just as illustrations. However, other related topics are also encouraged:
All manuscripts should use clear exposition; be technically adequate; make a theoretical contribution (e.g., testing, creating, or extending theory); make an empirical contribution; be innovative, interesting, and novel; and/or have important implications for practice.
