    Multiple Faculty Positions in Organizational Behavior

    Tenure-Track Level & Tenured-Level

     

    The Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis is seeking qualified candidates for multiple faculty positions in Organizational Behavior at the rank of:

    • Assistant Professor (degree date of 2019 or later) whose research specialty is any topic within organizational behavior
    • Tenure-track/tenured faculty member whose research specialty is race or ethnicity (any rank: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor)

    The effective start date for this appointment will be July 1, 2022. Responsibilities of the position will be to conduct ongoing research, individually and collaboratively; to teach courses in Organizational Behavior and related areas; to advise and mentor doctoral students; and to provide service to the school.

     

    Reflecting a vibrant and supportive research environment, the Olin Business School is rated highly in terms of research productivity. Over the past several years, faculty in the OB group have published in outlets such as the Academy of Management Annals, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Organization Science. Group members sit on the editorial boards (AMJ, AMR, ASQ, JAP, OBHDP, OS) and have served as associate editors at top journals in the field.

     

    The Olin School offers an undergraduate program, day and evening MBA programs, Executive MBA programs, and a Ph.D. program. In partnership with the Brookings Institution, the school also offers an innovative Master's degree in Public Leadership. Tenure track faculty in the OB group include: Markus Baer, Bill Bottom, Stuart Bunderson, Erik Dane, Kurt Dirks, Hillary Anger Elfenbein, Ashley Hardin, Andrew Knight, and Judi McLean Parks.
