    The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) invites nominations and applications for the position of Chair of the School of Psychology, with an anticipated rank of Full Professor. Candidates must have demonstrated outstanding leadership and scholarship, and possess strong commitments to interdisciplinary research; educational activities; faculty/staff development; diversity, equity and inclusion; and public engagement. They must have an earned doctorate in psychology or a related discipline.

     The School offers doctoral training and research opportunities in broad areas including Cognition and Brain Science, Cognitive Aging, Engineering Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and Quantitative Psychology, with interdisciplinary graduate programs in Quantitative Biosciences and Human Computer Interaction. The School offers a B.S. Degree in Psychology and is a partner in the Institute's interdisciplinary B.S program in Neuroscience. Georgia Tech's commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration is a major asset, which has led to frequent, fruitful interactions involving faculty in the School with those in other programs in the sciences, computing, design, business, engineering, and liberal arts.
