    University College Cork (UCC) wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Management. Applications for this Lectureship are invited from those with teaching and research interests in any of the domains of human resource management, leadership, organisational behaviour, or career development.

     

    The appointed candidate will have demonstrated potential for effective delivery of teaching and training. The successful candidate will also possess the ambition and capability to undertake and publish high-quality, impactful research with relevance to the needs of industry.

    This is an exciting new position that will involve the appointed candidate working between Cork University Business School (CUBS) and the School of Pharmacy through the newly formed iEd Hub. The lecturer will work within a team tasked with the development of a suite of programmes, and delivery of these programmes in association with industry partners in the life science sector.

This post will aid our ambitions to be increasingly recognised internationally for the excellence of the student learning experience and for the impact of our research on individuals, organisations and society.

     

    This lecturer post is directly connected to and funded through the Irish Government Human Capital Initiative funded project which will be delivered by a consortium led by University College Cork and includes Munster Technological University  and multiple enterprise partners in the Life Science/Medtech sector. The consortium is developing a novel, agile educational platform to produce next generation graduates for the Health & Life Science industry sector in Ireland.

    Appointment may be made on the Lecturer Below the Bar Salary Scale €35,248- €61,984 (Scale B)/ €37,158 - €58,981 (Scale A)

    Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
