    Dear OB Division Colleague

We are excited to invite you to The University of Queensland's upcoming summit on October 8th, A Brave New World: Trust, Ethics & Governance in an Age of Disruption.

This summit brings together world-class researchers and experienced industry leaders to share and discuss cutting edge insights through interactive panel discussions and practical research presentations.

Learn from the experience and insights of our panellists, such as Paul Scurrah (CEO of Virgin Australia) on navigating through the Covid-19 crisis, and Alan MacSporran (Chair of the Crime and Corruption Commission) on how emerging technology is helping combat corruption and crime. Through industry experience, combined with the latest research insights, this summit will elevate your understanding of how to navigate disruption in a way that builds resilience, maintains stakeholder trust and is ethical.

By attending either a half or full day, you will gain useful knowledge that will help transform and distinguish you and your organisation through these uncertain and challenging times. This important event will address key issues that we are all facing, including:

How do I build and manage trust during disruptive events?
Why does Artificial Intelligence and big data pose ethical risk? How can our organisation embrace emerging technology in a way that is trust-enhancing?
Why do good people do bad things?
How vulnerable is my organisation to corruption?
How do I make responsible decisions at the ethical edges, where hard regulations meet soft cultural controls?
What are the impacts of broken trust and poor governance for my organisation and how do I turn it around?

Join us for this unique opportunity to learn, engage and network with expert researchers and influential leaders across multiple industries.

We hope to see you at this event, either in person or online. Tickets to attend in person are limited so we recommend registering early. Please feel free to share this event opportunity with others.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please get in touch with us.

    Kind regards,

Professor Nicole Gillespie, Associate Professor Sarah Kelly and Dr Shannon Colville
