Dear OB colleagues,
We are completing a meta-analytic review of the implicit theories literature to examine how implicit theories, or mindsets, predict judgments and decisions. We appreciate your help in locating unpublished data to include in our analysis. The following are the inclusion criteria:
(1) Study includes an assessment or manipulation of implicit theories or mindsets of people, personality, and/or attributes
(2) Study includes outcome assessment of judgments (e.g., trait-based judgments, attitudes, prejudice) and/or decisions (e.g., punitive, restorative, concessions)
Articles related to achievement domains (e.g., academic) or theories of relationships are not included in the present analysis. We are focusing on the relation between mindsets about people or attributes and the link to judgments and decisions related to others. However, we want to be exhaustive, so please send us any papers or data that you think could possibly meet the above criteria. This includes papers in press, student projects, conference presentations (abstracts, papers, posters), dissertations, unpublished manuscripts, etc. We will cite your work accordingly. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thanks!
