    With apologies for cross-listing:

The Department of Management in the Fogelman College of Business & Economics seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor with a research specialization in diversity and inclusion (D&I), effective fall semester 2022, pending available funding.

    Responsibilities
Effectively teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, maintaining a stream of high-quality research, participating in activities of the department, and fulfilling professional and university service responsibilities. Included in the latter is serving as the Director of the College's Center for Workplace Diversity & Inclusion (CWDI). As the CWDI Director, the new hire will work with faculty to raise visibility of the center, build community partnerships, and enhance on-campus collaboration.

The Department of Management is an academically diverse, research-oriented group with 16 full-time faculty positions. Academic specializations include: OB/HR, D&I, entrepreneurship, and strategic management. The Department offers degree programs at all levels, including an active doctoral program, and is fully accredited by AACSB International. For more information, see: MGMT.

    Minimum Position Qualifications
Candidates should have a Ph.D. with a concentration in management or closely related discipline, a record of effective university teaching and commitment to teaching excellence, and evidence of a strong research program targeting leading management journals (e.g., JAP, JOM, AMJ, SMJ, JOB, PPsych, JBP). Primary research can be in OB/HR, strategic management, international management, etc., but must have a clear D&I emphasis. Demonstrated experience in obtaining external research funding and/or center leadership is a plus but not necessary. While we prefer candidates who are already tenured at a comparable institution, advanced Assistant Professors with strong research records are also encouraged to apply.

Please apply at: Assistant/Associate Professor of Management.

Send questions to the search chair Dr. Kristen Jones (kpjones@memphis.edu).
