    With the support of OMV AG, the Department of Strategy & Innovation at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business is offering one Ottillinger Habilitation Fellowship for Women; this position gives talented  female  researchers  the  opportunity  to  attain  habilitation (venia docendi, a professional qualification) under preferential terms. Terms of employment include a duration of four years and reduced teaching load. Employment should commence on October 1, 2020.

    Prospective candidates should hold Doctoral or PhD degree, in most cases completed with the highest possible grade, with demonstrated potential and willingness to publish top-level research and achieve teaching excellence. Furthermore, a specific habilitation project at the interface of strategy and innovation and a detailed  research  proposal  defining  the  project's most important  goals and milestones is required. The project should already be in an advanced stage.

Research and teaching is focused on technology (management) and innovation (management) at the interface with strategy and organization design. This includes for example themes like new organizational forms for innovation, open innovation, incentives and innovation, crowdsourcing, digital innovation and innovation platforms, or business model innovation.

    As part of an entrepreneurial team, your responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting and publishing research in top tier journals, supervising undergraduate students, and service to the Department's academic activities.
