OB/HR tenure-track position at NUS Business School

The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Department of Management and Organization. We are seeking individuals with a strong commitment to and the ability for excellent scholarly research in the areas of Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management. NUS provides a supportive environment including competitive salaries/benefits, generous research grants (including a substantial start-up grant), reduced teaching load for two years, subsidized faculty housing, and a strong research culture.

The works from our faculty have been published in top journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Personnel Psychology. The Management and Organization Department at NUS is one of the most productive and highly cited departments in the world.

Applicants should possess a PhD from a recognized university before commencing employment with NUS, and have outstanding research potential, as indicated by top-tier journal publications and work in progress. In addition to research, applicants should have a strong interest and competence in teaching at all levels, and in training doctoral students. The NUS Business School offers undergraduate, MBA, doctoral, and executive programs. It consistently ranks among the top business schools in Asia and has AACSB and EQUIS accreditations.

English is the principal language of instruction at the university and an official language in Singapore. Singapore is a modern city with a standard of living that rivals or exceeds many American or European cities. It is also well-located for work and travel in South-East Asian and the Western Pacific Rim.

To ensure full consideration, please send in your electronic application by July 31st 2020. We will conduct informal virtual interviews shortly after the deadline. We regret that only shortlisted applicants would be notified. The position will remain open until filled.

Please submit your application materials (cover letter indicating "OB/HR Position", CV, research and teaching statements, sample publications, reference letters, and NUS Personal Data Consent for Applicants) electronically to Ms. Michelle Loke at mno-recruitment@nus.edu.sg.

    NOTES:
Employer will assist with relocation costs.

Please feel free to circulate! Thanks!
