    Greetings fellow nerds,
Are you interested in continuously improving efficiency, effectiveness, and enjoyment in our craft of scholarship? If so, we welcome Ph.D. students, post-docs, and faculty alike to join us for this year's Productivity Process PDW:

The Productivity Process: Research Tips and Strategies from Prolific Junior Faculty

Friday, July 30, 2021, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET (Sponsored by the OB Division)

We have a remarkable lineup of contributors (detailed below). A feature of this year's virtual conference format is that we have unlimited space. Anyone interesting to join us need only pre-register at the link below. Immediately following registration, you will receive an email with your unique calendar invite and Zoom link (adjusted for time zone): https://z.umn.edu/ProductivityProcessPDW

Session Goals: A perennial challenge of our profession is learning how to build and maintain academic productivity (i.e. gaining traction on research while also being excellent instructors and well-reputed academic citizens-all while maintaining wellbeing). Our main goal is to help develop an awareness of the processes used by prolific junior faculty. A unique feature of this flagship OB Division PDW is a focus on productivity as a process of continuous development-rooted in the assumption that, as scholars, we can build thought patterns, practices, and habits that foster both our work and wellbeing. Our presenters will discuss the best practices and evolution of their work habits, including how they have considered, revised, and gone about their work (e.g., time allocation, co-authorships, writing blocks, and strategies) and how they protect and invest in their wellbeing to maintain their productivity (e.g., exercise, work/family balance). This session includes a blended format of presentations, small group breakouts with attendees, and a keynote address by Prof. Jessica Rodell.

(Note: we understand that geographies/time zones may make it challenging for some attendees to join this year's session in full. If you can join us for part of the workshop, please feel free to jump on/off as your schedule and workday permit).
