Associate Professor Positions in Organizational Behavior

The Organizations and Innovation Group at the UCL School of Management seeks applications for faculty positions at the Associate Professor level. We are particularly interested in research related to creativity, innovation, social networks, diversity, and related topics. The anticipated start date is 1 September 2021. We welcome applications from candidates pursuing topics related to either macro or micro organizational behavior.

University College London (UCL) is one of the world's top universities. With an annual turnover exceeding £1.5 billion, it is a major research and education hub in London and globally. UCL's staff and former students have included over 30 Nobel prize winners. It is a truly international community: More than one-third of our student body come from 150 countries and nearly one-third of staff are from outside the UK. UCL offers more than 200 undergraduate programmes and more than 400 taught postgraduate programmes.

The UCL School of Management offers BSc, MSc, MBA and PhD programmes in Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Business Analytics, and Information Technology. See mgmt.ucl.ac.uk for more information about the school.

The School consists of five research groups: Organizations & Innovation, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Operations & Technology, Marketing & Analytics, and Finance, Accounting & Economics.

The Organizations and Innovation group includes research faculty members Martin Kilduff, Colin Fisher, Sarah Harvey, Sunny Lee, Chia-Jung Tsay, Joshua Becker, Jim Berry, Clarissa Cortland, Felix Danbold, Verena Krause, Blaine Landis, and Tom Taiyi Yan, as well as PhD students and post-docs. The Organizations & Innovation Group, in line with the School's focus, has built a strong, collegiate, and active research community. As a research-focused group, tenure-track positions involve teaching only 2 courses per year (with a reduction in year 1) with generous research support, including the provision of research assistants. Our group, in liaison with the Strategy & Entrepreneurship Group, holds weekly internal brown bag seminars, and regularly invites leading scholars to present their work.

Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field from an accredited institution, possess a strong research record commensurate with the rank of Associate Professor, and have impressive teaching credentials.

The UCL School of Management encourages diversity and a positive culture among all faculty, staff, and students. Our School is committed to building an intellectual community in which diversity, fairness, and inclusion are valued. UCL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
