the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management invites applications for a tenured full professor position in Work & Organizational Psychology (with an emphasis on leadership).
We welcome applicants interested in individual, interpersonal, group, or organizational phenomena at the interface of work and organizational psychology, management, and leadership from diverse theoretical perspectives. While we have a preference for scholars performing high-quality research in these same areas, we are open to reviewing applications from scholars with a wide range of interests in the broader psychology space (social psychology, evolutionary psychology, experimental psychology, cognitive psychology, economic psychology, differential psychology). We are particularly interested in individuals who demonstrate the willingness and the ability to teach leadership and psychology-oriented courses in our advanced post-graduate programs.
Job Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent academic qualification in work or organizational psychology or social psychology
- Record of demonstrated excellence in scholarly publications. Outstanding research record as evidenced by publications in leading academic journals, presentations at excellent conferences, and a strong research pipeline
- A demonstrated ability of teaching at the MBA, EMBA and Executive Education level. Strong teaching record, especially in English, and a commitment to teaching excellence and innovation
- Outstanding English communication skills
- International experience
