The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ invites applications for a tenure-track position in Management (with a focus on OB) at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2022.
Qualifications: Candidates must have earned (or completed all requirements for) a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior or a closely related field before September 2022. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in leadership-related areas (e.g., leadership development, team leadership, shared and collective leadership, digital leadership, strategic leadership, decision making, leadership related to DEI). Candidates should demonstrate a track record of, or a potential for, excellence in research (as demonstrated by publications in FT50 or ABS 4 and 4* journals) and teaching, and an ability to collaborate with the other faculty in the School of Business.
Job Responsibility: Members of our faculty are expected to conduct original research of high quality, to teach effectively, and to participate in and contribute to the academic environment. Regarding research, candidates must have a commitment to research leading to top scholarly publications. Regarding teaching, candidates are expected to teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The specific courses will be determined by considering both the faculty member's areas of expertise and needs of the school.
