Just wanted to let you know about a few PDWs sponsored by the Conflict Management Division that may be of interest to a broader audience:
- A Practicum with AOM Ombuds: Bystander Interventions (Session 241: SAT 7/31 6-8AM) – In this session three members of the Academy of Management Ethics Ombuds Committee will present an interactive session designed to help faculty intervene effectively when they witness conflicts.

- Research Incubator: The Microfoundations of Intragroup Conflict (Session 384: SAT 7/31 1:30-3:30 EST). This PDW explores ways in which we can look at intragroup conflict differently by generating an awareness of its microdynamics (e.g., dyadic relationships, conflict asymmetry, conflict expressions, conflict origins and dynamics). The format will include short presentations of recent advances in the field, Q&A, and breakout groups to create an opportunity for researchers working in this area to collaborate.

- Negotiating Your Job Offer (Session 626: SUN 8/1 2-8PM EST) – This session is geared towards all AOM members interested in learning how to navigate the final stages of the job search process, across all levels (post docs, first time faculty, more senior positions, and industry positions). We have an esteemed panel off Faculty who were recently on the market as well as Senior Faculty who can provide insight from the other side of the bargaining table. In addition to a panel discussions and breakouts with our panelists, we will also provide a brief negotiation tutorial and have an opportunity for participants to engage in a job negotiation exercise.
