    Dear Colleagues,

I would like to personally invite all of you to attend the 9th annual EIASM Workshop on Talent Management, to be held virtually on October 5, 2020!

As you know, this workshop is designed to bring together leading and emerging scholars working from a range of disciplines in the area of talent management with the intention of furthering theoretical and empirical work which can contribute to this rapidly developing area of study.  In these past 8 years we have been able to build a strong global community of scholars and practitioners, like yourselves, working in the area of talent management, and we recognize the need to maintain our community, as we navigate the COVID-19 crisis.

The MAIN SESSION (3 hours; from 15:00 to 18:00 Brussels time) will consist of the following:

    • Opening remarks and brief introductions: 15:00-15:30
    • Keynote speech by  Rebecca Kehoe (Cornell University, USA): 15:30-16:15
    • Panel discussion including Ruth McElhone, Learning and Development Manager, Brown Bag Films (an Oscar nominated animation company https://www.brownbagfilms.com), Barry Hughes, Head of People, EMEA, Sprout Social (a leading social media software producer https://sproutsocial.com), and other exciting panelists: 16:15-17:15
    • Questions and Answers: 17:15-17:35
    • Feedback from the participants: 17:35-17:50
    • Wrap up: 17:50-18:00

    Please register at https://www.eiasm.org/frontoffice/event_announcement.asp?event_id=1496.

This main session will be followed by a SPECIAL PhD SESSION (90 minutes; from 18:30 to 20:00, by invitation).

These initiatives reflect our commitment to maintain both momentum and continuity for our Talent Management community and opportunities for our virtual attendees to update their knowledge and networks until we can meet again in person next year.

    Best wishes,

    Vlad
