Webinar Description: Recently Rosalie Tung, Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) has asked past JIBS Editors-in-Chiefs to each write an editorial about their views of how the field of International Business is evolving and the future of International Business.  The editorials explore how the field of international business is evolving and what are the most important topics that International Business research should focus on as well as reflecting on what opportunities and challenges international business scholars face.  The extent that international business scholarship needs to change to adapt to our rapidly changing world is also considered.

Join us for an exciting webinar which will start with each of the editors-in-chiefs briefly presenting their editorials in about 7 minutes.  This will be followed by a few questions on each paper after which we will have a panel discussion about the future of international business.  The session will end with a Q&A session.  It is rare to have a panel of such excellent international business scholars and including multiple JIBS Editor-in-Chiefs so this should make for a great session and not be missed.  Questions about the webinar can be addressed to Professor Carl Fey, BI Norwegian Business School, carl.fey@bi.no.

The papers to be presented at the webinar are:

Tung, R. L. (2024). Perspectives on international business: Insights from the JIBS Editors-in-Chief. Journal of International Business Studies55(9), 1089-1092.
