The Organizational Behavior group at WashU's Olin Business School is seeking new PhD Students
We are recruiting exceptional students for our PhD program in Organizational Behavior for admission in Fall 2025. Relevant academic backgrounds include: cognitive and social psychology, economics, sociology, anthropology, behavioral science, data science, statistics, philosophy, and business.
Applications are currently being accepted online, with a final deadline of December 04, 2024.
We have a very supportive environment, a generous stipend, and faculty who serve in editorial positions at some of the leading journals in the field. Students will work with our award-winning faculty to conduct world-class research on topics spanning the organizational and behavioral sciences. Faculty who are available for mentoring new students include:
- Giselle Antoine: Culture, deviance, moral emotions
- Markus Baer: Determinants of the activities underlying creativity and innovation in organizations
- Hannah Birnbaum: Factors that enhance or undermine organizational DEI initiatives
- Jon Bogard: Judgment and decision making; risk, uncertainty, and probability; behavioral ethics
- Peter Boumgarden: Drivers of human capital performance and strategic competence in closely held firms
- Erik Dane: Personal change, mindfulness, mind wandering, insight, and intuition
- Hillary Anger Elfenbein: Emotions in the workplace, negotiation, personality
- Ashley Hardin: Work-life boundaries, interpersonal learning, relationships at work
