If you're a PhD student who has completed comprehensive exams-or at least one year of your program-we invite you to register for the virtual "Halfway There" PDW, designed to help mid-program doctoral students begin establishing themselves as independent scholars.

This long running and highly rated PDW provides valuable guidance on launching your dissertation, developing your scholarly identity, and preparing for the academic job market. We also encourage you to share this opportunity with students or colleagues who may benefit.

Pre-registration is required and limited to 100 participants, so we recommend signing up soon. The form takes just 1–2 minutes to complete.
