Dear colleagues,
We plan to submit a proposal for a symposium for EAWOP that will focus on downsizing and employee well-being, work experience, and careers (Deadline for submission is November 15).
We are looking for one or two more contributions where researchers can share findings, and new perspectives on:
- The short- and long-term effects of downsizing on employee psychological and physical health
- Strategies for supporting remaining employees after workforce reductions
- Effective management practices that can mitigate such adversities
- Cultural and industry-specific differences in downsizing approaches and outcomes
If you are conducting research in this area and plan to attend EAWOP congress this year, please let us know by emailing me (mtomprou@andrew.cmu.edu) and Sandra Costa (sandra.Costa@iscte-iul.pt)! Please include in your e-mail response a short overview of your work.
